Details

This exhibition showcases the 24 best entries for the Protect Glaslyn & Hafren Photo Competition 2024. The judges were hugely impressed by the number and quality of entries making the task of choosing just 24 all the more difficult.

You now have the most difficult task of all - choosing the very best photo! Write your choice on the slip of paper provided and then place in the voting box.

The photo with most votes wins a weekend in a luxury shepherd’s hut with its own private lake.

PLEASE VOTE BY 16 NOVEMBER

The winner will be announced on 30 November 2024.

And if you like the photos - you can buy the 2025 calendar in the Great Oak Bookshop & Woosnams (see other Event for more details).

The photos below show us what an amazing place we have on our doorstep and how precious it is to so many.  Once lost it is gone forever.

We are campaigning to protect this area from a proposed wind farm.

We are totally committed to moving to renewable energy but this particular development would destroy one of the few remaining beautiful wild environments which are so vital as a precious habitat for wildlife, locals and visitors alike.

Below are the images from the exhibition, please note these cannot be downloaded / used without the express permission from the photographer.
